1952 Spiegel Airman Motor Bike

Safticycle based in La Crosse, WI, manufactured the Spiegel Airman motorbike that was offered through Spiegel retail stores and Spiegel catalog.  Spiegel tried to mimic the success of its larger competitor, Sears, Roebuck & Co., by offering a safe, economical motor bike.

Features:
  • Lauson Motor - TLC425 -
  • 2-speed Albion transmission giving you a better range of speeds and super cool with the hand clutch/foot shifter giving you a motorcycle feel.
  • 24" wheels with deep drop fenders so they looked cool and little ones could ride it.
  • Bendix generator powering Do-Ray head light and tail light
  • Featured a rear drum brake only - no front brake.
  • Burgandy frame and tank.  The Lauson motor was green. 
  • Optional Speedometer by Stewart Warner
  • Manufactured by Safticycles Inc. in La Crosse, Wisconsin
